Senior Vice President, Business Development
Scott Starr is responsible for business development for Dynamic Energy. Scott’s tenure in solar and distributed generation technologies have earned him an appreciation for multiple perspectives; whether end-users, developers, financiers, long-term system owners, or construction partners, Scott values each client’s unique goals in developing profitable distributed generation projects.
Prior to Dynamic Energy, Scott worked for solar pioneers including First Solar, Solyndra, SolarBuyer, groSolar and General Electric, gaining diverse experience along the PV value chain as a module manufacturer, project developer, EPC/Installer, and module quality expert. Prior to his career in distributed generation and renewables, Scott worked for Medtronic bringing implantable cardiac and neurological devices to market, and continues his work in human potential and leadership training systems.
Scott holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, an M.B.A. from Duke University, and a GE Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
